Summer demands additional care and management of our body and mind. Managing excess sweating requires keeping yourself hydrated and paying extra attention to managing your skin. Among all summer issues, tanning of skin from the scorching sun is one of the most common issues.

HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE REMEDIES TO MANAGE THE TANNING OF SKIN:-

1) Cucumber Juice – Cucumber juice has a very soothing and cooling effect on your skin. The vit C in it also keeps your skin moisturised . It effectively reduces sun tanning..
Remedy :- Cut few cucumber slices and squeeze the juice out of it. Apply the juice on your face and neck and let it dry . After 20 minutes wash it out with warm water.

2) Coconut Milk – Coconut milk is highly nourishing and highly hydrating on the skin . It helps in restoring the lost moisture • Vit C and mild acid present in it helps removing the tanning on the skin.
Remedy:- Take coconut milk, take a cotton ball and dip it in the coconut milk. Apply the cotton ball well on your face and neck and let it dry. After drying, wash well with lukewarm water

3) Gram flour Turmeric and Milk – Turmeric is an excellent skin brightening agent and Bengal gram flour or what is known as besan lightens the skin effectively.
Remedy:- Take little gram flour, put a pinch of turmeric in that and make a paste with milk, and then this paste should be applied on face and neck, let it dry and then and scrub it out with warm water.

4) Lemon juice Honey and Sugar – The citric acid in lemon, lightens the mark, the honey gives a cooling effect to your skin, whereas sugar acts like a scrub.
Remedy:- Take a spoon of lemon juice add honey in that and then try and put a little sugar in it . Mix this and rub that on your face and neck.

Let it dry for sometime and then wash it off with warm water. Citric Acid in lemon lightens the mark, honey is a very strong moisturizer and sugar works as a scrub and that really clears your skin very effectively.

HOME REMEDY FOR SKIN TAN :-
(Ingredients- Besan, Coffee, Turmeric, Honey, Curd or Milk) :- Mix well all ingredients and Apply on face & Hands Properly and wait for 20 minutes . Do this only Once in a week Have a Bath & wash it up .

SKIN ITCHING(PRURITUS)

There may be some causes of itching that are not due to the underlying disease. Such as hair regrowth, symptoms of sunburn, insect bites, dry skin or wound healing. An uncomfortable, irritating rash that makes you repeatedly scratch your skin. This can occur in any part of your body.

Skin itching in legs :- Itchy skin (pruritus ) on the legs is commonly caused by dry skin. However, itching in the feet can also be a sign of serious conditions such as poor circulation, nerve damage, and diabetes.

How to get relieve from itchy skin:-
1. Apply a cold, wet cloth or ice pack to the itchy skin. Do this for about five to 10 minutes or until the itching goes away.
2. Take an oatmeal bath:- OATMEAL HAS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES. IT CAN Help REDUCE DRYNESS & ITCHING .
3. Moisturize your skin:- Daily Moisturizers, ointments, and creams improve the skin’s natural barrier function, which promotes water retention . After bathing, apply lotion to your skin to keep it moisturized.
4. Apply topical anesthetics that contain pramoxine.

5. Apply cooling agents, such as menthol or calamine.

Skin itching with small bumps :- Several skin conditions can cause itchy lumps that resemble bug bites. These include allergic reactions, infections, and chronic conditions. Most people experience this symptom at some point. Itchy bumps can appear due to allergies, infections, insect bites, and, sometimes, nonidentified factors.

Skin rashes can be red, swollen, raised, as well as dry, itchy or painful. The main cause is dermatitis, which is when your skin reacts to allergens or irritants. Bacteria, steroids, viruses, allergies and the conditions eczema, hives and psoriasis can be the source of skin rashes.

Homeopathic Remedy:-
1.) A COLD SHOWER OR A COLD COMPRESS CAN BRING RELIEF TO THE AFFECTED AREA.
2.) ALOE VERA GEL POSSESSES HEALING PROPERTIES WHICH CAN SOOTHE THE SKIN.
3.) IF YOU SUFFER FROM ITCHING & RASHES, TRY BAKING SODa.
REMEDY: MIX 1/2 TEASPOON OF BAKING SODA IN SOME WATER, APPLY IT ON THE AFFECTED AREA & RINSE AFTER A FEW MINUTES
4.) APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAS ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES WHICH REDUCE ITCHING & SOOTHE THE SKIN.

REMEDY: SOAK THE AFFECTED AREA IN A MIXTURE OF WARM WATER & APPLE CIDER VINEGAR FOR 15 – 20 MINUTES & RINSE.
5.) OATMEAL HAS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES. IT CAN HELP REDUCE DRYNESS & ITCHING.
REMEDY: ADD COLLOIDAL OATMEAL TO YOUR BATH WATER, SOAK FOR 20 MINUTES & RINSE OR USE CREAMS & LOTIONS WHICH CONTAIN THIS INGREDIENT
